Going to the speech therapist
What can you expect at the speech therapist?
- You meet the speech therapist and ask your questions about improving speech, language, your voice or breating, listening and hearing, or mouth functions like swallowing & chewing.
- The speech therapist researches which method or therapy can be used to answer your question. Then a plan is made and explained to you.
- Then a number is sessions are planned in to learn and improve the skills needed to achieve your target. If needed we arrange a treatment contract with your health insurance.
- During the sessions and at the end we discuss your progress.

What do you bring to the pseech therapist the first time?
- Identity papers
- Insurance papers
If you have a referral from a GP, dentist or specialist please take it along. Also, you can bring a letter from the school or any other institution.
